The Boston Scientific V-18™ ControlWire™ Guidewire is a specialized 0.018″ peripheral vascular guidewire designed to facilitate percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) and peripheral endovascular procedures. Engineered to navigate complex anatomy and cross stenosed lesions, the V-18 guidewire provides physicians with excellent torque control, rail support, and smooth device delivery during vascular interventions above and below the knee.

Built with a durable Scitanium™ stainless-steel core, the V-18 guidewire delivers strong support and reliable pushability while maintaining flexibility for precise navigation through peripheral vessels. The wire is coated with ICE™ hydrophilic technology, which reduces friction and improves trackability through tortuous anatomy and narrowed vascular segments.

The guidewire incorporates a polymer sleeve tip design and radiopaque distal segment to enhance visibility under fluoroscopy and enable accurate placement within the vessel.
