The Terumo Neuro Headway™ Duo Microcatheter is a high-performance neurovascular microcatheter designed for precise navigation and delivery of embolization materials during endovascular procedures.

Developed by Terumo Neuro (MicroVention), the Headway Duo enables physicians to deliver diagnostic agents, embolization coils, and liquid embolic materials in the treatment of complex neurovascular conditions such as intracranial aneurysms and arteriovenous malformations (AVMs).

Engineered with an advanced hybrid braid-and-coil shaft construction, the Headway Duo microcatheter provides excellent pushability, torque response, and flexibility while maintaining lumen integrity. The proximal braided section adds stability and torque control, while the tightly wound distal coil enhances flexibility and shape retention, allowing the catheter to navigate tortuous cerebral vessels with precision.

The catheter also features a lubricious hydrophilic coating that reduces friction and improves trackability through complex vascular anatomy. Its low-profile distal tip and optimized inner lumen (approximately 0.0165″) enable compatibility with various embolic materials, including coils, n-BCA, and DMSO-based liquid embolics such as Onyx™, supporting a wide range of neurointerventional therapies.
