The Boston Scientific Sensor™ Wire is a hybrid urology guidewire designed to combine smooth access, dependable handling, and secure instrument support during endourological procedures. Boston Scientific describes Sensor™ as a nitinol guidewire with hydrophilic tip and calls it a preferred hybrid wire technology for kidney stone procedures.

Developed for urologists who need both access and working-wire performance in a single device, the Sensor™ wire combines a kink-resistant nitinol core, a flexible hydrophilic tip, and a PTFE-coated body.
