The Asahi Fubuki® Guiding Catheter is a high-performance neurovascular guide catheter designed to provide stable access and reliable device delivery during endovascular procedures.

Developed by Asahi Intecc, the Fubuki catheter helps physicians guide microcatheters, guidewires, and therapeutic devices to target lesions within the cerebral vasculature while maintaining excellent procedural control.

Engineered for complex neurovascular anatomy, the catheter features a soft, flexible distal tip and balanced shaft construction that improves trackability through tortuous vessels while minimizing the risk of vessel injury. This design provides a stable platform for device delivery and enhances pushability when navigating challenging vascular pathways.

The SLIP-COAT® hydrophilic coating applied to the distal segment enhances lubricity, allowing the catheter to glide smoothly through the aortic arch and vessel ostia. This hydrophilic surface reduces friction during advancement and supports efficient catheter navigation in neurointerventional procedures.

For improved procedural accuracy, the Fubuki catheter incorporates a platinum radiopaque marker at the tip and radiopaque materials along the shaft, enabling clear fluoroscopic visualization during device positioning. This visibility allows clinicians to precisely track catheter placement throughout the intervention.

The catheter is available in multiple configurations, including 6Fr, 7Fr, and 8Fr sizes with straight or angled tip options and working lengths typically ranging from 80 cm to 110 cm, providing flexibility for different neurovascular treatment strategies and access routes.
