Terumo NaviCross™ Support Catheter
The Terumo NaviCross™ Support Catheter is a high-performance peripheral support catheter designed to facilitate guidewire navigation and lesion crossing during endovascular interventions.
Developed by Terumo Interventional Systems, the NaviCross catheter provides physicians with excellent pushability, torque control, and trackability for accessing complex vascular anatomy during minimally invasive procedures.
Engineered with double-braided stainless-steel construction, the catheter offers enhanced strength, kink resistance, and reliable torque transmission. This advanced shaft design enables precise catheter steering and stable guidewire support when crossing challenging lesions in the femoro-popliteal and below-the-knee vasculature.
The NaviCross catheter incorporates a tapered distal tip and smooth guidewire-to-catheter transition, which helps facilitate easier lesion access and improved crossing performance. A distal hydrophilic coating (M-Coat™) further enhances lubricity, allowing the catheter to glide smoothly through tortuous vessels and complex stenoses.
For improved procedural accuracy, the device includes three radiopaque markers positioned along the distal shaft, allowing physicians to visualize catheter location and accurately measure device placement under fluoroscopy during endovascular procedures.
The NaviCross system is available in 0.018″ and 0.035″ guidewire compatibility, with working lengths typically ranging from 65 cm to 150 cm, as well as longer configurations such as 200 cm for radial-to-peripheral procedures. This range of sizes provides flexibility for various vascular access strategies and treatment approaches.
