The Ultimaster™ Tansei™ Sirolimus-Eluting Coronary Stent System is an advanced drug-eluting coronary stent (DES) developed by Terumo Corporation for the treatment of coronary artery disease (CAD) during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures.

Built on a refined delivery platform and innovative biodegradable polymer technology, the Ultimaster™ Tansei™ stent provides precise lesion coverage, excellent deliverability, and controlled drug release, helping physicians restore coronary blood flow while reducing the risk of restenosis.

The system features a thin-strut cobalt-chromium stent platform (80 μm) combined with a sirolimus-eluting biodegradable polymer coating designed to support early vascular healing and long-term vessel patency. The polymer gradually resorbs within approximately 3–4 months, leaving only the metallic stent structure in the artery.

The Tansei delivery system introduces an updated catheter design that enhances pushability, trackability, and kink resistance, allowing interventional cardiologists to navigate tortuous vessels and challenging coronary lesions with greater confidence.
